Our component parts come from trusted suppliers across the globe.  Whether it is a self-braking caster produced to our specifications in Asia, or a molded piece of seat foam made for us in Michigan, every single part that goes into our chairs is purposely designed, and carefully crafted.  Our experienced chair makers work with these quality parts and our internal upholstery team to construct “Made in America” chairs and stools.
Easy Ergonomics
Our intention has always been to engineer chairs that provide the ergonomic adjustments necessary for users of all shapes and sizes to sit comfortably and correctly, without needing a thick instruction booklet to figure out how to do that.  Our levers and controls are clearly marked, and it is easy to understand how to raise a seat, change the angle on a back or lower a footring.  Afterall, we are not designing a race car, but rather a workhorse chair.  We want our controls to be simple and quickly understood by all users – “Easy Ergonomics.”

All the industrial chairs and stools we manufacture in Tennessee leave our facility with an industry leading 15-year warranty.  What that means for our dealers is that we stand behind the parts, and we have faith in our chairs.  Additionally, our vinyl coverings come with a 5 year warranty, and our pneumatic lifts (cylinders) have a LIFETIME warranty.  If one of our chairs stops going up and down – we will send your customer a new cylinder and they will be back in business.

E Com's dedicaton to quality assurance is demonstrated in its 15 year warranty on products, lifetime warranty on pneumatic lift components, and 5 year warranty on fabric or vinyl upholstery.

E Com provides industry best-in-class total quality assurance and control. Quality assurance and control is practiced at every phase in the product development and production life cycle and includes meeting or exceeding BIFMA and ANSI industry standards.

E Com Clean Room Seating is manufactured to help laboratories and production facilities to be maintained virtually free of contaminates such as dust or bacteria. E Com seating has been tested and certified by independant laboratories to guarantee they meet Fed Std. 209E and ISO 14644-1 requirements.

ESD Chairs designed and manufactured at E Com dramatically reduce the risk of any human or property damage resulting from electrostatic discharge. E Com chairs have been tested and certified by independant laboratories to guarantee they meet NFPS 70 and ANSI/ESD standards.

Fabric and Vinyl used in the manufacture of E Com chairs and stools meet or exceed flammability requirements in California Technical Bulletin 117 and 133*. *Extra fee is required to conform to CTB-133.
